Privacy
Metromotion Controls collects information needed to respond to enquiries, manage graduate applications, run the website and understand which services visitors use. Details submitted through contact and scoping forms are used for business follow-up and website operation.
Information you send us
When you submit a contact form or project scoping form, we collect the details you provide so our team can review the enquiry and respond. This may include your name, company, email, phone number, project type and project notes.
Your application information
When you apply, we keep the information you provide for your application. This includes your name and contact details, CV and cover letter, application material, assessment answers, and interview notes.
We keep this information until you ask us to remove it. We do not use a fixed retention period or automatically delete application records.
To ask for removal, email recruitment@metromotioncontrols.com.au with the subject line “Remove my application information”. Where you still can, write from the email address you used to apply — that is the quickest way for us to match your request. If you no longer have that address, write from any address and tell us your full name, the role you applied for, and roughly when you applied.
We check those details against the application before we remove anything, and we may come back to you for more. Erasure cannot be undone, so we will not act on a request we cannot confidently match to an application.
We will erase your candidate record and the application material held with it, including your submissions, documents and interview notes. We record that the erasure was carried out, who carried it out, and when.
Website analytics
We use PostHog analytics to understand page views, service interest, button clicks, form completion, device type, approximate location and session behaviour. This helps us improve page structure, service content and enquiry flow.
Analytics events do not intentionally include contact names, email addresses, phone numbers or free-text project messages. Form fields are masked for session recordings.
How we use this information
We use enquiry data to respond to you and manage potential project discussions. We use aggregated analytics to understand what visitors are interested in, which pages need improvement and where users may be dropping out.
